I feel like the day I got the Dor scholarship, my life transformed magically! I am so grateful to Sanyogita ma'am for helping me fulfill my ambitions.

I come from Jharkhand, a place where girls are not privileged enough to get even basic education. My parents have wanted me to stand on my feet and study well and so they sent me to Dehradun to live with my grandparents. I aspired to make my parents proud, and studied very dedicatedly, and even topped my school in Class 10th! I dreamed of entering the Medical Field, but the situation at my house worsened and I lost my mother. This shook me a lot, but I continued to be confident and completed my school and topped Class12th as well! 

My biology teacher always used to motivate me a lot and connected me to Dor Foundation because of my merit. I was taken through the whole process of admission and got counselling on my career goals post which Dor applied to private colleges for me. I never even dreamt that I would get a chance to study in a private college, and so when I did, it was truly mystical to me!
