Sheetal used to live with her grandmother in Kedarnath. However, in 2013 when the flood disaster struck, Sheetal and her grand other were displaced with no place to stay. They moved to Dehradun and were taken in by an NGO who helped her complete her school. However, after she turned 18, she was asked to move out. Stuck with nowhere to go, she found out about Dor Foundation through her school teacher and reached out to us.

As is our policy, we helped her get admission at a private college in Dehradun with a 100% tuition waiver. Sheetal is a very deserving girl and we are sure that she will achieve great heights in her future.
